| OBJECTIVES |
| - To establish a General Dioceses Youth Choir - To a establish a General Dioceses children choir - To organize inter-church Choir competitions for youth and Children. This will be organized with specific judging criteria (New Lyrics, creativity, theme, music, sound etc), and a panel of judges |
| - Revive our Coptic treasures of Spiritual Songs and hymns. - To encourage new hymns to be written by our youth, and keep our Coptic Heritage alive through them. (eg. Work with the arts committee and conduct a competition of poetry writing for Hymns) - Encourage the buried talents in each church in the area of composing hymns writing hymns in Arabic, English and Coptic. - Merging the spiritual hymns with the professional and musical performance without losing the spiritual goal of the hymns. - Revise current hymn books used in church youth meetings, and ensure the hymns comply with the Orthodox Faith and Dogma. - Reflecting our Coptic Orthodox dogmas and teachings through praising the name of the lord. - Reinforce the unity between the youth of the Diocese through participating in a great service with a united spirit. - Developing a united spirit in the children of the Dioceses of Sydney and develop their love of Praising our Father in Heaven - Produce creative children’s productions, using costumes and actions suitable to attract and entertain the children in a Christian Orthodox environment. - The Children’s Choir can aim to produce tapes and video clips in the future. |
